Design of platform for handheld circular saw

The aim of this work is an effort to create a mobile and space-saving workbench for clamping a hand-held circular saw with angle and height variation of the saw blade. As part of the technical report with the relevant calculations and drawings of the main parts of the worktable. Table will contain auxiliary cables (also dimensionally adjustable) for longitudinal cutting. This set will serve as the "saw" for the simple joinery operations or as a cheaper competitor aforementioned saws.

Desk for splitting semiautomatic

The subject of the bachelor thesis is the design of the working table, which will ensure the stem lifting and its transport to the splitting semi-automat. Lifting of stem with weight up to 500 kg is ensured by lifting arms. Then, the stem is moved to the splitting semi-automatic by means of a belt conveyor. The design of the frame is designed to withstand a load of 5000 N. The lowest security has k = 1.2 according to the strength analysis. The table frame can be easily folded using a hydraulic cylinder. Thanks to this we can easily mount the frame behind a splitter semi-automatic and transport both devices at the same time.

The aim of this thesis is to describe the development of working tables and office furniture in the historical and ergonomic context, describe the working environment and its impact on the human. It is also comparing options of the market and materials used in large-scale and small-scale manufacture of the tables. An integral part of this thesis is also the proposal of the office table, which takes in account all the mentioned aspects, which contains the first ideas, visualizations and a manufacture of the functional prototype 1:1.

This bachelor thesis deals with the design and construction of a workbench for home use. It is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the history of desks and design of table furniture in the 21st century, then there is a typology of table furniture and ergonomics for office furniture. The work also includes a search for the construction of the base and joints for tables and the search for contemporary materials. In the practical part there is a research of writing and working tables. The work includes drawing documentation and bill of materials.

The thesis deals with living in a minimal space. The work collects information about a minimal housing and the requirements for this space as disposition, properties and equipment. The part of thesis includes selected examples of a minimal housing. The processed information is used for own design of the minimal interior for young couple and design of the atypical furniture element. The furniture design includes technical documentation and calculation of used materials for its production. The solutions of interior and furniture design are made with AutoCAD 2015 and 3ds Max Studio 2015.

It deals with detailed describtion and structure of the design, from the initial ideas to the final prototype shape. Part of the diploma thesis are production drawings of the prototype, description of used material and overal documentation of production.

The master‘s thesis introduces a design of a multipurpose chest of drawers with an emphasis on its modularity. In the theoretical section, the current state of knowledge on the topic is summarized. Overview of a design of the chest of drawers, multifunctional and modular furniture, terminology, ergonomics and norms related to proposed functions are presented. The applied section offers design of the multipurpose chest of drawers that proposes a function of a work table as well as an open storage space. The design was created in compliance with the outlined theory. The outcome of presented work consists of series of visualisations created with the graphic program 3DS Max, technical documentation and constructed prototype.

The second part of the thesis is practical. It contains original work desk design in a number of configurations, sketches, construction solution and documentation for prototype production. It also includes a description of the creative process used in its design.
